What do I say about this movie, to sum up I can say that when you reach the interval, you feel really sorry that there is still one more half to go.

The plot tries to recreate the prototype (what is thought to be I'm sure, the masala key to success) bollywood potbolier with a revenge theme, twin sisters separated at babydom, a male protagonist who goes from zero to hero (rather late in the movie), a Chinese father-in-law who spouts Hindi at the drop of a hat. A villain who is committed to villainy in completely black shades (none of those modern grey shades here, ... » read more

Cast: Mithun Chakraborty, Akshay Kumar, Deepika,

The terms Chandni Chowk 2 China and china are synonymous with visions of exotic eastern grandeur and lustrous spend our, so suffice it to say this is a grandiose recycling of the queer depths of infamous crossfire that Indian cinema is caught the audience ingratiatingly to turn them into opiate fed morons or so they presume, as if there are masses who will buy a ticket to see their heritage being plundered in the name of sham art.

I dont know why I saw this movie. This ranks among one the worst movies that I have seen till date. There was no story, not a great soundtrack, no great fight sequence or anything to keep you hooked. And what was worse, throughout the movie Akshay Kumar just cried and cried and cried.

You really dont want to see Akshay crying. You want to see him in a suave mode - fighting villains, making the heroine swoon. It was a big mistake. And Deepika was a complete wash-out - just 2 expressions and Meow-Meow!!!

Its quite unfortunate for Warner Brothers to be associated ... » read more

The few million dollars converted into several crores of rupees is the only thing that is noticeable in this hugely hyped, strongly marketed movie which tries to ride on the AK charisma, which sailed the not so good Singh is King through. But this time the makers have goofed up big time. There r a hell lot of indigestible cinematic liberties taken, the kind we had last seen in the masala movies of yore.
    Digest this:
    (i) Mithun suddenly, out of nowhere, appears from behind the goons before he gets killed. Remember, he was supposed to be in India.
(ii) If Akshay, ... » read more

    A Grade to C Grade……….

I am a Hindi Movie buff and love Hindi movies from Black and White era till date. But unfortunately I have grown up on one of the worst phase of Hindi Cinema where out and out masala movies were made with loads of revenge drama, Action, Lost and Found Formula and Predictable Stories. But as I grew up the Hindi Cinema too grew up to far matured level. We love Realistic films but on same time still love Masala Entertainers. And when the movie has Akshay Kumar the Entertainment level reaches to top point. His movie are total Paisa Vasool [If ... » read more

After having heard everything people had to say, including Shekhar Suman asking Akshay to apologise for making the worst Hindi film ever...I couldn't expect anything great from the movie. There were around 15 people in the 300 seater theater. Yeah, thats about 5% occupancy.

I can't say I was pleasantly surprised with the movie, but it did generate some stupid laughs. Akshay is today's Govinda, whether he likes it or not. So, if Govinda was ever a king, Akshay is his true successor by filling up his void in the theaters. Same kind of facial expressions, identical ... » read more

    Lovely, Fantastic, Absolutely Entertaining.
I believe if “Ghajini” is a blockbuster then why cant this one?
If Aamir can fight with 10 people and cab have not even a scratch on his body then atleast Akshay ne toh bohot maar bhi khaaya hain. He also deserves a blockbuster film of Rs 200cr. What about if I say that? People would laugh na? but if we compare both then both the stories and screenplay were OK. Graphics would always be wonderful to watch. The only difference was the acting part. Aamir did a marvellous acting and Akshay did his job well. Toh chalo iss ... » read more

    Paapdi Noodles chaat!

Perhaps Warn-er Bro was not Warned enough! after years of studying the pattern of bollywood flicks and consumption trends of indian movie lovers, they derived at a conclusion that Indian chaat needs to be little spiced up with Chinese noodles. They also thought of bridging the growing animosity btw two fastest growing economies, thus being able to kill two birds at one strike! huh!

so executives from the great American studio hired some extra ordinary talented guys who remixed content from the worst movies of 80s, which is like ... » read more

Chandni Chowk To Chinaaaaa....Dimag ki dahi hui naaaaaa......this is what Jituraj said in his review.
The film is Ok kinda thing but what was missing is all I can say drama and masala for which the movie is actually meant for. The revenge of S.I.D.H.U…Sidhu was not at all entertaining and not at all worth watching. The humour was not at all upto the mark. No C for “Creativitivity” in any of the scene. Even the double role of Deepika Padukone was not entertaining. Her acting was good to watch but I believe any other actress can do that, not a great performance I would ... » read more

I m a bit confused about this film. The genre of the film was comedy but the humour was seeing and was missing also. But as my grandma saw the film she was just enjoying the film, with simply no logic on her face. According to the researcher the older people are like kids, with simply just no logic inside him/her. That means they just remain happy in every of their state. That means whatever the film may be they just enjoy it, that’s it! Then why cant we have? I m thinking if we watch this film without any logic then will we be able to enjoy? If yes, then I like the film . » read more
