  1) All the tracks composed by Ilayaraja have been used by him in Tamil and Kannada cinema. Ilayaraja recycled his original work and polished them up for this movie.
  
  2) Art Director Julie Bonnet recreated the whole London restaurant on a studio set.

  At the end of every take Veteran actress Zora Sehgal, who played Big B's mom in the film, used to ask Director R.Balki where her whiskey was. On her birthday, Amitabh presented her a crate of champagne and she was overjoyed!

  Director Balki has broken the coy convention and suppressed conviction, not only by effecting nexus between a 64-year old man and a 34-year old woman, but by projecting the scene when the old lover darts into a store to buy condoms. The director has made Amitabh act the bold scene, and Amitabh has relentlessly performed the scene, as he has put the character in it. Often an actor who becomes an image, hardly dares to break it. But Amitabh is an iconoclast who believes in image-breaking.

  If Amitabh-Tabu relationship is taken for the main-plot ,Amitabh--Sexy rapport is aptly esteemed as the sub-plot. One is subtly complementary to the other. The 64-year old Buddha falling in love with a 34-year old woman ,when tormented by his ungoverned emotions, takes emotional respite to the little girl of his grand-daughter age who, by her talks, philosophises his imperatives. When the news of her end reaches Buddha, he is as helpless as one in a fast moving boat without the boatman.
