    Yahan Sab Theek Hai

Rarely do we see a star spoofing himself on the celluloid. This is one such venture and a treat to watch…

Hadbahedi is a small hypothetical town somewhere in India, which is perceived as a village by all, except those who live there. It’s a “no evil” place where everybody follows and undocumented moral and social code of conduct. They get power supply for only 8 random hours a day – but they are hopeful to get it for the whole day; there is only one weekly newspaper Hadbahedi Times with limited reporting and circulation, run by a man ... » read more

‘Worth a watch’ and “Must a watch’!

As per Chintuji urf Rishi Kapoorji who told us that “I am the only actor by this name and not a politician”. This describes a whole or a lot of what the movie is actually about.

In short “This movie is all about how to be a human being”.

The story is about all the villagers living in that small village very peacefully and happily. Villagers were actually wishing that their name of village should be recognized by people. Rishi Kapoor as an actor wanted to become a politician and was invited in this small village ... » read more

Bade Miya to Bade Miya, Chote Miya Subhan Allah :

Now a days many times when I am watching a Hindi film in cinema halls I keep wondering for which audience is this film made for ? The director has either copied the script from some international film, or its remake of some Indian classic film, or blender of Indian and international film, etc etc. Of course there are many film which we like, we enjoy and at times can relate with it too. But there are very few times when I see a film where I can feel that yes this film is made for me. Yes! me who is paying money ... » read more

    Chintuji ki Jay Ho!

The story, the screenplay, music, performances, everything was just too good. Very well written by Mr.Ranjeet Kapoor and too simple direction by none other than Mr. Ranjeet Kapoor. Though it’s a very low budget film, but now-a-days it has become trend that it’s worth watching this kind of low budget film rather than multi star cast, big budget masala film which at the end delivers us nothing.

This film has a very good subject with an extremely worth learning good message with too good performances by not only by Mr. Rishi Kapoor but ... » read more

    An Underrated Film...

Chintuji is a breath of fresh air in that it relies on an original plot and superb performances to entertain its audience. Maybe Ranjit Kapoor's script hit a raw nerve by lampooning the very nature of stardom in India today? It is good to see that Bobby Bedi is still taking risks with his choice of film too.

In Hindi cinema today it is rare to find an original idea. The billboards in Bombay are awash with films that rely on very thin plots and even thinner costumes. They are mostly selling films that shamelessly "borrow" their ideas ... » read more
