      Dabangg 2 music rating: 8 out of 10(Sumit wrote on Nov 17 2012 4:04PM)

      It's time to welcome the Chulbul Pandey, Now the man himself finally appears and asks cockily 'Swagat nahi karoge hamara?' Dabangg 2 is the most awaited movie of the year, As Sajid-Wajid said "Dabangg was such a big hit with great songs that expectations from Dabangg 2's music have doubled and so has the risk of composing it, So we decided to give the sequel our best shot. We know that people are expecting a lot from us this time around too." Sajid-Wajid also won 5 awards for Best Music Director for Dabangg. It's undoubted, the expectations from Dabangg 2's music are very high. The album is a full of enjoyable, energetic, provocative and piquant tracks. It's "The Bang" Album of Dabangg series. A Big Hit!

      1. Album starts with a very soft and catchy romantic melody "Dagabaaz Re" spectacularly rendered by Rahat Fateh Ali Khan, Shreya Ghoshal & Shadaab Faridi. Song beautifully describes very cute and romantic situation in which Chulbul Pandey(Salman Khan) is trying to persuade his enraged wife Rajo(Sonakshi Sinha). Rahat Fateh Ali Khan's mellifluous voice gives a perfect start, egregious and very seductive loops of tabla and dholak easily sustain whole arrangements with sonorous sound of harmonium and sitar mingled with entrancing violin and strings. Shreya Ghoshal's tempting vocals make song more delightful. If we compare this song with Tere Mast Mast Do Nain(Dabangg), then this would be the winner with more blissful melody and demulcent Indian touch. Must Listen!

      2. "Pandeyjee Seeti" sung by Wajid, Mamta Sharma & Shreya Ghoshal, It's a dhinchak plausible track with full of joyful beats and provocative musical arrengements of Band-Baaja. After 'Humka Peeni Hai' & 'Munni Badnam Hui' - Dabangg (2010), the blatant pair of Chulbul Pandey and Munni(Malaika Arora) is back with more fervor. Song tells about the gallant and stubborn Pandeyjee(Salman Khan). It is inspired by two very popular songs 'Chalat Musafir'-Teesri Kasam (1966) and 'U.P. Wala Thumka'-Hero No.1 (1997). The whole song is based on these two songs, Wajid, Mamta Sharma & Shreya Ghoshal all have done terrific job. Nice!

      3. Aahaa! now we have a massy chartbuster "Fevicol Se" sung by Mamta Sharma, Wajid, Keerthi Sagathia, Uvie & Shadaab Faridi. After superhit item number 'Halkat Jawani'(Heroine), it is another energetic item number by the reigning queen of bollywood Kareena Kapoor Khan. The song is a fusion, perfect blend of foot tapping beats and qawwali, the efficacious part of the track is unpardonable and very funny lyrics. Sajid-Wajid brilliantly used some influential elements like Rubab, claps and dholak for qawwali portion and trumpet & hard drum kicks purposeful pace and bass. Mamta Sharma, Wajid & Keerthi Sagathia all have done brilliant job with outstanding singing and exquisite performance. The song is going to be the biggest chartbuster because of it's swingeing and amusing temper. A high-sounding Chartbuster!

      4. "Saanson Ne" sung by Sonu Nigam & Tulsi Kumar, it's a romantic track with tender melody and soft beats. A very succulent and velvety melody beutifully rendered by Sonu Nigam & Tulsi Kumar. Sajid-Wajid brilliantly used pleasing sound of flute & dholak with engaged pulpy sound of saxophone and shahnai. Very pleasurable lyrics penned by Irfan Kamal for this melodious composition, An ear soothing track!

      5. "Dabangg Reloaded" sung by Sukhwinder Singh, this is a reformed version of 'Hud Hud Dabangg'- Dabangg (2010). This is the theme song with endowed blend of powerful beats of naqareh and bewitching flair. Sukhwinder Singh sung very well, efficacious lyrics prettily describes the qualities of brave, spunky and dominant Chulbul Pandey. Sajid-Wajid nicely used naqareh, and high bass drum kicks with sparkling electric guitar and trumpet. Very Nice!

      6. "Remixes" there are also some remix versions of three songs Fevicol Se (Remix) - Mamta Sharma & Wajid, Pandeyjee Seeti (Remix) - Wajid, Mamta Sharma, Dabangg Reloaded (Remix) - Sukhwinder Singh and all are average.

      Music Director- Sajid Wajid;

      Lyricist- Sameer, Jalees Sherwani & Sajid;

      Rating- 4/5 ;

      Recommended Songs- Dagabaaz Re, Fevicol Se, Pandeyjee Seeti, Saanson Ne .
