Dacait is an action packed tale of corruption and justice . College educated Arjun ( Sunny Deol ) returns to his village after a sojourn in the city and finds that ruthless businessman, Thakur Bhawar Singh ( Raza Murad ) has been cheating the villagers. When Arjun stands up to the swindler , Thakur responds by ransacking the village and massacring Arjun's family .They leave him beaten and bruised. He is found by a group of dacaits led by one of his old friends Raghu . Raging with fury and hellbent on taking revenge on Thakur, Arjun decides to join hands with Raghu and becomes a dacait . Will Arjun be able to get justice for himself and the villagers ? Will he able to save the villagers from the atrocities of the Thakur?
