Amar however declined. Amar’s mother passed away but before dying she asked Amar to take care of Rekha and his younger brother. After his mother’s death Amar made a new garage in their land. Avi got a first class in engineering, and found a good job. Paban continued scheming in order to acquire the land. When Avi required money to go abroad for higher studies, he offered to pay. Rekha on the other hand was constantly harrassed by her uncle and aunt. Avi's plans also did not fall through. He however managed a lucrative job. The company's future CEO Riya grabbed his heart. Avi agreed to the marriage of Amar with Rekha. Paban Pal ordered his men to burn the house. Amar was falsely convicted for the murder of Paban Pal. Rekha told Amar that she was pregnant.
