Jabbar Bakshi (Danny Dengzonpa) is an ardent Muslim and the eldest son in the Bakshi family, who is sent behind the bars for killing Iqbal who loved his sister Sabina (Sonali Bendre), due to which Sabina too commits suicide. Jabbar gets an imprisonment of 12 years. When Jabbar comes out of jail after 12 years, he finds that Muslim rituals are not being observed by anyone, while his mother refuses to accept him back in the family. A few days later, Jabbar bumps into his niece Neelima, who looks exactly like Sabina. And co-incidentally, Neelima too is having an affair and her family has no idea about it. And what more, The boy whom she loves is a hindu, Sameer Roshan (Akshaye Khanna). When Jabbar finds out about their romance, he wows to kill them even of he gets imprisonment for another 12 years. Meanwhile, the news of an affair between a Muslim girl and a Hindu boy spreads like fire, which results in communal riots between Hindus and Muslims. Will History repeat itself for Jabbar? Or will the lovers unite for a change, breaking all the boundaries made by the world?
