No doubt about it. The best hindi movie I have seen for a while.
All right, everyone knows its a copy of the Bucket List, well I dont give a damn about it. It's just beautiful. Pure Class. If you havent watched it, you are missing something you shouldn't. Right from Saurabh Shukla to Ranvir Shorey, from Rajit Kapoor to Neha Dhupia, from the Uzbek whore to the younger brother, every one perfectly acted their part. Mr. Pathak does what comes naturally to him, act with truth and honesty, thats why I havent found a single scene in his entire career where he was not brilliant. Right from playing a sidekick in Jism to carrying entire movies on his own shoulders such as in Bheja Fry... he is just a class apart.
I try hard to find flaws in the movie but really its just wayyyyyyyyyy tooooooooo hard. Please make time to watch this movie. It will make you leave the theatre with a calm head and a smile on your face.
Allright, I dont really have to say this, but I just cant end without including something I felt so very strongly about while watching the movie. There's a scene where Vinay Pathak says I Love You to his childhood Sweetheart Neha Dhupia, who never knew how he felt about her and is now happily married with a kid. It just makes you embrace the moment and the man. It must take more courage to do what he did than to say pick up a gun and shoot somebody. And in the wake of the tragedy in Mumbai, I would say that would have taken more courage than the mad psychopaths think they had while commiting those ghastly acts of crime.
