    Make your own list

    1. Life is short. Do something, outside your daily routine.

    2. Family members can fight or become apparently insensitive. But, they are the ones, who stand by you in hours of need. There is a soft side beneath all of us.

    3. Friends go apart, but they connect faster than you can imagine. True friends don't

    4. Your dream object is not just a dream, it's within your reach...and don't wait for a lifetime to enjoy it.

    5. You don't deserve nonsense from anyone. Give it back, enjoy the moment and get out of it.

    Kabhi Dasvidaniya Na Kehna

It’s been a fantastic time for the new generation filmmakers to successfully explore non-typecast scenarios, and they are delivering big time with proper backing from production houses. This is one such delightful story…

Amar (Vinay Pathak), a 37 year old bachelor lives a monotonous life along with his aged and partly deaf mother (Sarita Joshi). An extreme introvert, he works as accounts manager in a firm reporting into a thorough professionally practical and ever hungry boss (Saurabh Shukla). His day starts with making a to-do ... » read more

    Dasvidaniya - a Tearful Drama

Sometimes you need a cut-off date to get your life in full swing. This might be the message given by Dasvidaniya; a heart-warming story of Kaul (Vinay Pathak) who realizes that his life will be tragically cut short following a cancer diagnosis. What he sets about to do in this short space of life, is what the movie all about.

We get a glimpse of Vinay’s life before the diagnosis that mooches around a dull office, unfriendly colleagues, and an irritable mother apart from his listing of the “ten most important tasks” of the ... » read more

No doubt about it. The best hindi movie I have seen for a while.

All right, everyone knows its a copy of the Bucket List, well I dont give a damn about it. It's just beautiful. Pure Class. If you havent watched it, you are missing something you shouldn't. Right from Saurabh Shukla to Ranvir Shorey, from Rajit Kapoor to Neha Dhupia, from the Uzbek whore to the younger brother, every one perfectly acted their part. Mr. Pathak does what comes naturally to him, act with truth and honesty, thats why I havent found a single scene in his entire career where he was not ... » read more

    “To Do List”.
Have you made your wish list? If not then read the review above, I am sure you will definitely fulfill all your wishes.
The story of the above film is somewhat similar to one of the Hollywood film as per I remember. The film name is “THE BUCKET LIST” (2007), starring Jack Nicholson and Morgan Freeman.
But still, if you don’t think that for a moment, the film is still watchable “AGAIN” when you had already seen once. It’s a very very emotional and touchy film which I recommend all should watch it at least once.

Simple, decent, shy by ... » read more

    A Movie to cherish….

This year two films based on Simple subjects were released and got good support from the audience, Welcome to Sajaanpur and Ek Vivaah Aisa Bhi. This week we have another Simple film with blend of good emotions and performance, “Dasvidaniya”. Also 2008 has witnessed different genre of films released and have been noticed, films like Aamir, Welcome to…, Wednesday, Mumbai Meri Jaan, Tahaan and now Dasvidaniya joins the list of good films.

Ten things to do before i die!

Sounds familiar to the The Bucket List? Even then Dasvidaniya stands on its own merit; for the excellent presentational format, for the engaging dialogues, for that rare on your face dramma and above all for that a maverick performance from the house of Pathak's (or Rajat?).

From a viewer's point of view, only if the later part of the movie would have beeen as tight as it was in the beginning. Barring that little sluggishness at the end, Dasvidaniya stays afloat with the people who crave for the fresh wave of Indian cinema. ... » read more

Sometimes life gives us unforeseen and unexpected pleasures which sweeps us off our feet and makes us forget its trivial nitty gritties in the dawn of the bigger picture. Truly and honestly, thats what happened to me after I watched 'Dasvidaniya'. All this at the cost of sounding over the board. Now here was a movie which I had to watch since off beat movies starring the likes of Vinay Pathak, Ranvir Shorey, Rajat Kapoor are a must for me. So, amidst my semester exams, one fine noon I set off. Amar Kaul takes off from where Bharat Bhushan(Bheja Fry) left us. The same mannerisms, ... » read more
