The film depicts the tale of Deva, the brother of a wealthy businessman, who has anti-social links. He however does all this to ensure the interests of the poor people. Deva assists his brother who himself is also a hardcore goon. Deva however undergoes a change after he falls in love. The main enemy is the local MLA who is corrupt. He finds out about his sister Seema's lover whom they had beaten up earlier but are unable to disclose to their elder brother who has fixed their sister's marriage. She decides to run away and get married, but dies in an accident on the way. Deva promises her on the deathbed to ensure her lover and his family's security as she is sure that their elder brother will try to harm them. A misunderstanding takes place when Deva denies to kill or harm Seema's lover's family. It is revealed that the lover is Deva's lover's brother. The disgruntled and angry elder brother reveals that he is an adopted son and not his own brother. The promise-bound Deva goes to ensure the security of the family. The vicious MLA tries to take advantage of the situation but cannot. All misgivings and misunderstandings are resolved after the elder brother stumbles upon the sister's love letters. A family reunion takes place on the day of the marriage between Deva and Neela. The MLA's goons shoot Neela. However she is saved. The elder brother tries to kill the MLA but Deva stops him from resorting to violence. The MLA is handed over to the police
