    Suren, a bank cashier, had a sister Namita, a college student, Both of them were happy. But Suren one day was sentenced to jail on a charge of the act of fraudulently appropriating money of bank amounting rupees twenty thousand falling in to clutches of Sudhir. Bank manager was Suren's classmate in college. He gave Suren seven days time to repay the money. Suren depended on Sudhir again for selling his parental house. Namita didn't know anything about that. Namita was in love with artist Rabin who had gone aboard and Sudhir organized to sell Suren's house to a rich widower Jogen babu. One day he came to visit Suren's house and saw Namita. Jogen proposed to marry Namita though Sudhir. Both Suren and Namita refused that proposal. But when Namita came to know about Suren's problem she accepted the proposal of marriage. Namita's marriage with Jogen was over. One day Jogen's younger brother came back from aboard. Namita found that it was Rabin. Rabin could not forgive Namita. He left his house. Chandra took shelter with her daughter Reba at Sudhir's place. Chandra was abandoned by her husband. But Chandra was forced to leave Sudhir's place due to his mischief behaviour. Suren gave them shelter. Even after several try Jogenbabu failed to bring back his brother Rabin. He fell sick and ultimately died. Widow Namita went to request Rabin to come back. But that time also Rabin did not return. After that Rabin fell ill. Them forcibly Namita took him to home and cured him. Rabin understood Namita was actually his affectionate sister-in-law.
