The name 'Delhi 6' did not impress me when I was about to see the movie, but I realised during the time I was watching it that it is by far the best movie that I have seen since 2006. Delhi 6 is the postal address of the locality where the movie shaped up where an young NRI came to India to fulfil the wish of his grandmom.
The film shows the typical picture of unity in diversity. The rivalry of the old generation and theaspirations of the younger ones. The castism and the separatism of people by political motive through religion,is shown quite clearly. Butit is also shown that the golden heart of the simple people surfaced at the right moment and did the right thing for a greater cause!
It is really very impressive to note the minute details of sets and dialogue onthe part of the Director. The cinematography is suparb and the plot givs nostalgic feeling of 'Nukkar' serial of T.V.
The Ramayan setting is good at the background, and the parts played by each Actor is precisely executed and I shoud say this is a complete teamwork that is done by the whole unit! The music is outstanding and very much inbuilt with the script.
I would recommend it to be seen by allreasonable people to uplift India above all castism and religion, so as toemphasise upon the human touch of the common people for which the country is rich and admired globally.
