Imran was not the first choice for the lead role of Delhi Belly. It was Actor Shayan Munshi, who was selected for the role and was even contracted and given a signing amount. But Aamir Khan, who would never do anything that may create a negative publicity for his film, realized that Munshi who has gained a strong apathy from the Jessica Lal case, may cause a public backlash.
