Desh Drohi is about a man called Raja who leaves his village, and the girl who loves him, Neha, behind to seek his fortune in Mumbai. He seeks out his friend from the same village, Shekhar who is now a watchmen in the city. Raja dreams of making it big and soon gets involved in a drug nexus. He also falls in love with Sonia who works for this gang.

He soon realises that the politicians in the city are using the common man to meet their own selfish motives.
