The story revolves around an ex-freedom fighter and social worker Mrs. Choudhury. She runs an NGO in North Bengal called Aastha. Sanjay Nandi is a journalist. He is very fond of Suprava. Her son Anjan requests Suprava to come to Boston with him. Suprava expresses her anxiety for Aastha. Anjan goes to Bangalore for 15 days. Suprava decides that this time she will go to Boston with Anjan. Local MLA Pratul Babu and his brother-in-law Harimadhal Ghosal invite Suprava for the 15th August celebrations where Pratul Babu donates Rs. 50,000 for Aastha. When Suprava is coming back from the function she notices two goons chasing a helpless girl. She rescues that girl and gives her shelter. That girl is Shila. The criminals threaten Suprava and one day they attack her house and kidnap Shila. Suprava feels upset over this unpleasant incident. Sanjay starts investigating the matter. Suprava and Sanjay go to Azimgunj to talk to Shila's father, who is an unemployed handicapped person. They also go to Shila's office to explore the exact story behind Shila's kidnapping. They get some important information regarding this. Sanjay comes to know that some antisocial activities are growing in the area. He also comes to know that Harimadhav Ghosal is involved in this. Some notorious criminals come to Aastha and threaten everybody. Suprava feels disheartened, but her colleagues encourage her to fight for truth and peace. Suddenly Sanjay discovers Shila in a forest ware-house. Then they interrogate her. Some international groups are also involved in this. When Shila is talking to Sanjay and Suprava, two goons come and shoot Shila and Sanjay. They die. Suprava is shell-shocked. In the meanwhile, Anjan comes back from Bangalore and comes to know the entire story. Suprava refuses to accompany him to Boston. Suprava decides that she will stay back and fight the anti-social activities to restore peace.
