A very good experimental movie by Anurag Kashyap. He himself purposely showed us that this film is “Emotional Atyachar” for all those people who dare to watch. Before the film starts he honestly admitted that this film is “loosely” inspired by the novel “DEVDAS”. It means he had just made it for only those who are not at all seriously watching it or for those who are not at all serious about their life. Anurag showed us that how the real Devdas are in today’s world of centuries, how they become and how their mental attitude are towards women. Ah haan, you got me right. This film has been appreciated only because of Abhay Deol. A stunning performance by him. He has proved us that no matter what the content or script is, if an artist would perform well and gives their best shot then everything can hide. Many of the Sharukh’s film can give us a very good example. And that proves why Abhay stated that his performance will be compared with Sharukh Khan and Dilip Kumar. I would recommend a standing ovation for Abhay Deol’s performance, after having equal to nil experience in the industry and no such achievement in his career. My senses say that he will be nominated for the filmfare award. Apart from this the songs of the movie have been brilliantly picturized. Some part of the time you will feel the shit out of nowhere but during the songs you will actually enjoy the creativity that has been used. Especially the Harish’s Band presents “Emotional Atyachar” is ‘the-lovely’ to watch. I also very much liked the performance of Mahi Gill, she definitely has good potential in it. Kalki was never the less in the film. The DPS scandal game was going much deeper and deeper; feeling like when it is going to be end yaar. On the contrary, I was thinking when the hell movie is going to shut his mouth. I toh didn’t even got the chance to see the upcoming promo of Anurag’s film also. Lucky Divs.
Knock Knock!! What’s there in Audience Bag?
Lolzzz there’s no audience left here, everybody has become here DEV D, thanks to “Emotional Atyachar”

But a message from the entire Grandpa’s and Grandma’s in the world to all the young generation here, that do watch this film so that they don’t become DEV D.

    Still I would rate: 3/5
