Watch it. The treatment is good. The music rocks. Its the beginning of great, off-beat Indian movies. If you survived Slumdog and want to see a truly deserving Indian movie then this is one to catch.
Amit's music has depth and breadth. The album is a good one to own and all songs by the second listen will become popular in your head. Am a little speculative about his next album cause I dont recall one song from Aamir (his last).
Abhay with his "Emotional Atyachar" is truly the only Deol in the family who should be acting. Kalki is not too memorable for me but Mahi is every man's Indian woman.
The movie for me needs a second view as Anurag as subtly put in many scenes with backgrounds and dialogue that add to the plot. I Particularly like the shot wherein the camera shows the whorehouse and on top there is a backlit of the GRAND Hotel and the "G" is missed in the shot. Just brilliant.
Sufficient info to ensure atleast one watch.
