    She is the Man!

No No! It’s not a tagline! It’s a film, Hollywood, released in 2006. Same story, same plot, bas apna yeh Indian film thoda sa filmy hain. Uthe baseball tha, ithe sadda cricket hain. Baaki sab same hain.

This filmy story can be explained in just a few lines.
There’s a small village in Amritsar. A local cricket match is being played every year called as “Aman Cup”. Where the local Indian team v/s local Pakistan team play a friendly match. The coach of Indian team is Anupam Kher and theres Dilip Tahil. Indian Team is losing since 9yrs ... » read more

Dil na boley Hadippa! (Kuch bhi na boley toe behtar hai !!)

I watched this movie on Friday only and still I am thinking that how can one make such bogus movie with such stupid plots. Except Rani's acting everything in the movie is exaggerated to the highest extent possible. Shahid back to his normal "I am trying to act" form. Just read one trivia here in gomolo.in that the movie was certified as 'U' but after watching the movie, censor board made it 'U/A' due to certain reasons. This is very true I should say. Sherlyn and Rakhi has dialogues proportionate to the ... » read more

Thank God Sharukh was not in a lead role!

I am sure while watching the cricket match of this movie; you will surely recollect the match played in Chak De! But thank god Sharukh didn’t play the lead role in the movie; otherwise that feel of the Chak De match would be gone. It was just because of Sharukh Chak De has gone to that level.

That match was so real, and here the match is totally filmy. Indian in 50/9 and needed more than 150 runs in just 10 over’s. Rate of plus 15 runs per over and still our India wins. Total filmy! Chak De match was so real ... » read more

FULL BUNDLE MOVIE BAAP...!!!! I tried my best but could not bare it till half time..i think this movie is made for minors of age group 8-10..except acting of rani and a few songs nothing was appreciable... sahid was playing a character which was somewhere similar to the character played by SRK in chuck de.. But the soft and baby voice of Sahid was not working in this movie.... everything was influenced by the emotion of the mango janta.... furthermore the same old panjabi tadka of Yesh raj movie is not IN anymore... hope to see some good movies under Yesh raj banner in the coming months. » read more

OK...I admit it! I was wrong, Ms. De. Forgive me for doubting your intelligence (Though I'm still surprised that you seriously didn't like Kaminey!). Now to justify my apologies....I loved it. I LOVED IT! So sue me...sure. But not before you read why I loved it so much.
    So here goes.

From the moment the first promo of that kick-ass title track came out, I was hooked. I would count days (literally, like people do for the World Cup or their marriage!) anticipating the release of this film. And thankfully, it didn't disappoint.

The movie begins with ... » read more

‘’Hadippa We say, yet not so!’’

In the recent times, Yash Raj films have gone for an intentional make-over in its image. From their cult romance family entertainers, they did also make an attempt to plunge into launching new directors who had a “different” notion of hindi film entertainment. Salaam Namaste, Jhoom Barabar Jhoom & Tashan are prime example of that.
So it is quite delightful to see YRF come back to their original desi flavour with their latest release – Dil Bole Hadippa, although not completely mesmerising us like before.

What I like most in the film was the message.

The last speech given by Rani was fantabulous and it gives us a very deep message. Something we have to still learn it, something we are still forgetting and something we still have to do something.

The question still remains in this 21st century world that why there is still differences between a man and a woman. Some people still think that men are more superior to women’s. Why people still are not treating as man and women equal? Why there are still differences?

If a woman can be a doctor and engineer ... » read more

    RANI ALL THE WAY!

DBH was good fun. I thoroughly enjoyed myself while watching it. It promised entertainment - gaana - bajaana - naachna, and it delivered on its promise.

What can I say about Rani, she was simply superb, after seeing her I realised what we were missing in terms of acting, dancing, vivacity and sheer screen presence on the silver screen during her absence. Can the Priyanka's, Katrina's, Kareena's measure up? Not really! She has reached a different level of being seasoned. She was just fabulous in the role of Veer. Couldn't have imagined ... » read more
