DDLJ is one helluva sweet movie.
DDLJ was very much down to earth than the former in terms of characters & screenplay.
DDLJ brought out the charming best of KAJOL & made SRK realise what he was actually capable of. Very few know but SRK was initially not at all interested in DDLJ. Thank god he finally agreed, otherwise we wouldnt have experienced many modified versions of RAJ, RAHUL etc. etc.
Somehow, everything just fell in place with DDLJ - its songs, its dialogues, its characters, everything.
Farida Jalal, Amrish Puri, the girl who played Kajol's sister - all of them contibuted in their way to make DDLJ even more special.
Although i dont connect to its characters much, still, DDLJ is a treat for its sheer innocence and sweetness.
For me personally, The most remarkable feature about DDLJ are it Dialogues.
OK, agreed that some scenes were not up to the mark. but still, DDLJ is nothing less than a Landmark in Hindi cinema.
