    Born on 9th December 1975 in Bangalore, India, Dino Morea is an Italian Indian model and Actor. Dino was born to an Italian father and an Indian mother. He is the second of three brothers. He did his schooling from Army School and Clarence School, Bangalore and graduated from St. Josephs College in Bangalore. Dino was discovered by Prasad Bidappa in Bangalore who introduced him to the modeling world. He moved to Mumbai in 1996 to participate in the prestigious Glad rags Manhunt Contest where he was declared the undisputed winner. He then went on to win the second place in the International manhunt contest, post which there was no looking back. He was flooded with ramp shows and offers for press advertisements. He not only got the chance to work with the best designers of the country but also bagged some endorsements for good brands. He was first noticed when he was modeling for a fashion company, and he soon received his first film offer.

    His debut film Pyaar Mein Kabhi Kabhi (1999) opposite Dimple and Rajesh Khanna’s daughter Rinke Khanna was a lighthearted college caper largely known for one melodious song, Shaan's Musumusu, and not much else. Though the movie was a flop it brought him into the eyes of Mukesh Bhatt. Seeing his potentials Mukesh Bhatt in return introduced him to Vikas Bhatt, who was short listing candidates for Raaz and Dino appeared as the lucky star. Raaz (2002) a contemporary, psychological thriller delving into the paranormal realm was a huge hit and Dino’s popularity grew by leaps and bounds. He also got his breakthrough roles with the Rajiv Menon film Kandukondain Kandukondain (2000).

    After Pyaar Mein Kabhi Kabhi he got offers as hero's friend but refused them all and started meeting directors, hoping for good roles and this tide changed after he met Mukesh Bhatt. He bagged Gunaah (2002) directed by debutant director Amol Shetge,.the film is about a young fire fighter who turns into a criminal. A policewoman then takes it upon herself to reform him.

    The actor has roles in Sanjay Gupta's Plan, Saaya, Tinu Verma's Baaz, a Rajat Rawail film, a Mukesh Bhatt film and a Neeraj Pathak film. His other releases were Aap Ki Khatir (2006) opposite Miss World Priyanka Chopra, Aksar (2006), Tom Dick and Harry (2007) & Heroes (2008) He has acted his own self in the hit movie Om Shanti Om (2007) He was also seen in Pooja Bhatt’s Holiday (2007). In 2005, Dino learned Salsa for this movie which won him a lot of acclaim as he managed to gyrate despite having two left feet. He enacted in the story Sex On The Beach in his movie Dus Kahaniyaan (2007).

    In 2008, Dino was seen in Brahm, an intense drama about relationships, directed by Pawan Kaul and Anant Mahadevan's Anamika.

    He has won Gladrags Supermodel 99 Award. In 2003 he won the Dynamic Duo Award of Zine Cine Awards sharing it with Bipasha Basu.

    He used to date actress Bipasha Basu. In 2002, Dino split with his longtime girlfriend Bipasha as she had romantic link-ups with John Abraham. Dino Morea is now dating designer Nandita Mahatani, who is Sanjay Kapur (Karisma’s husband) ex-wife. Raaz has been so far his solo hit as an actor. He had seen the movie 10 times before it released. He has endorsed brands like Colgate, Live in Jeans, Polo, Red Tape shoes, 7-Up, Siyarams and Bisleri. He has appeared for music videos for a host of artistes like Bali Brahmbhatt, Alisha Chinoy and Abhijit. Besides his interests into movies and sports Dino has also ventured into resturants and is successfully running The Crepe Station, a well known café in Juhu and Banrda. Dino also made news when he bough himself a big sea facing mansion in Bandra, Mumbai.
