    I am just speechless!

This movie is way…way above than the usual of our Terminators, Transformers, or any other Sci-Fi movie.

District 9 is one of those movies which should not be missed by any chance. Especially for those who love to watch any kind of Sci-Fi or thriller kind of films.

I am just amazed watching this film and just…speechless. Don’t know what to say. Thoroughly impressed right from the beginning. And till the last frame completed, I said, “Phew!!!! What a movie man!!”

As always we know that the start of the film is the hook which is used to catch the eye of an audience interest. The first 30mins director will show you a typical documentary type of view. The first scene starts from a man called “Wikus” (Sharlto Copley), who is working in one of the govt. organization called M.N.U. He just gives us a brief introduction about himself, his organization and his work. Later giving some information about aliens already landed on earth, around 2.8 million have occupied the area of District 9 which is located in Johannesburg, South Africa. That area is already being fenced for protection. But the citizens of South Africa wanted to remove aliens from there. So due to pressure govt. has decided to move these around 2.8 million aliens from District 9 to somewhere away from the city where in an area their houses are already been made as tents. The chief in-charge was being given to “Wikus”. Now he and his team have started their operation.

These all vital information has been showed us in the form of a documentary. Some footages of aliens and their ships, some interviews of experts, families of Wikus, and etc. and then the operation was going on a live basis. And then as the story moves on, Wikus find some instrument thing and when he opened up, some fluid kind of thing sprouted in his face. Later on it was shown that he got infected with some alien viruses. His one hand is being turn into an alien hand. Govt. decided to kill him before he turns into a full alien, as they found him dangerous in many ways. He escaped and hided at District 9. Now there he found one alien where he got to know from him that the small little instrument thing is for to activate their ship, and they actually wanted to go their home.

Now this movie is all about how Wikus fights for himself, fights for aliens and this a movie is all about questioning to the audience that who is the real alien? That green little thing comes from outer space or one that species called as “Human Beings”?

A must watch film in all form, acting, cinematography, music, directorship, special FX, story, screenplay, just name it and its 100% pure watchable without any single frame to miss it.

Note: Watch it only if you have a strong heart!

    Rating: 5/5
