Milton (Nicolas Cage) has broken out of Hell to prevent the cult that murdered his wife and from sacrificing his infant granddaughter. He is being pursued by 'The Accountant' (William Fichtner), a supernatural operative of Satan who has been sent to bring Milton back to Hell.
In short, its a story of a vengeful father, who escapes from hell and chases after the men who killed his wife and kidnapped his daughter.
