When a doctor gravely announces that little Anshul is growing a tail, he inadvertently sets off the kids’ imagination! While Anshul cowers in fright, his elder brother Saumil in a very elder brotherly fashion sees it as a god sent opportunity to needle the younger one. Added to it is the usual fun and mischief with other kids in the building- from bunking school to rewriting love letters! Little do Saumil or the adults realise that Anshul’s fear is large and very real. In the meanwhile, Saumil enters a storytelling, painting competition and weaves a magical tale. But when his paintings go missing and he suspects Anshul, the brothers increasingly drift away.
Will Anshul be able to prove his innocence? Will he be able to overcome his fear of the unseen but larger-than-life, mysterious tail? Will his parents and loving Grandfather be able to broker peace between the two petulant boys?
Dum Kata is a simple yet magical tail that will appeal not only to children but also the child in every adult!
