    Indranath Chowdhury was the Zamindar of a village. He had three sons & two daughters-in-law. His son Rana who was an atheist insulted goddess Durga on the auspicious day of Durga Puja. He then disrespected the goddess who had come in disguise to his place. Eversince the family fell into bad days. When the zamindar family was reduced to poverty, Rana realised his mistake. He then begged for forgiveness and the family got back its earlier happiness.
