This is a collection of 10 stories. Each story in its own way shows how marriage, love lust, sex, power can all deceive us in one way or other (1) The first story 'Matrimony' directed by Sanjay Gupta is about a couple married for 5 years with no kids. The husband who is the vice president of a multinational company has no time for his wife, Puja. Puja meets Aditya, an army man and has an affair with him. When he is joining duty, he gives Puja a necklace as a gift. She pawns it as she cannot keep it. Her husband wins a lottery gift which is a ring matching the necklace. Later she finds that he has gifted the necklace to his secretary who is his girlfriend.(2) 'High on Highway' directed by Hansal Mehta is about a young couple very much in love but into drugs. Whenever they are on a high, they walk on the highway against the glaring headlights of the trucks.When they decide to get married they are sozzled and go for a walk on the highway. A van with 3 to 4 goons picks up the girl Kamya and attacks the boy Kabir. In a state of depression, Kabir slits his wrists. When Kamya comes back she finds Kabir dead.(3) 'Puranmashti' directed by Meghna Gulzar is about a girl from a village in Punjab who gets engaged. When the girl's father who is always rude to her mother leaves for town, the girl dresses her mother in her engagement finery. The mother remembers her old lover who had promised to meet her on every 'Puranmashi' night. She meets him in the field at night. In the morning, when the villagers see her returning in her daughter's finery, they mistake her daughter as having a fling at night and break her engagement. She jumps into a well and kills herself.(4) 'Strangers in the Night" directed by Sanjay Gupta is a story about a couple who on every weddnig anniversary tell each other something which they have never been able to forget.This year the wife tells about a time at a railway waiting room when she had kissed a man's hand. She says she would've given him anything he would've asked from her. When her husband accuses her of lust she tells him that the man was a terrorist who was trying to kill a Muslim boy. She had done this only to save the boy.
