    If you have never seen “Decalogue #2” by Polish director Krzystof Kieslowski, then the 85 minute long “Dwando” by Suman Ghosh would seem a beautiful Bengali movie which is original idea.

    But Suman has claimed the story is written by him, only the concept is borrowed from one of the commandment of the ten Biblical commandments.

    Kieslowski’s “Decalogue #2” was made in 1988. Ten television films he made were based on Ten Commandments. The basic theme of “Decalogue #2” was “Thou shalt not take the name of the Lord thy God in vain.” The length of the film ... » read more
