This is one of the few Oriya films to have been released of late which has been released in one theatre in the city. If one goes by the credits on the poster, people might think it to be a Bengali film though the faces are unknown. The story of a Thakur and a local goon of a village doesn’t quite take off though it starts up in a proper manner. Soon after the start the main feud becomes irrelevant and the story goes to a point where there is no direction to where it is heading. The goons decides to get even with the Thakur by using a girl as a pawn to win over the Thakur’s younger son and create a feud in that family. That is exactly what happens and at the end, the goon is killed in a confrontation with the Thakur, but in the process, the girl who is used as a pawn is killed while trying to save the Thakur. Needless to say the film is pathetic in all ways either technically or by way of performances and one is afraid the Oriya film industry is in bad shape.
