Lal Chand Dogra (Kadar Khan) is the biggest Under-world don in Mumbai. He also has a family which consists of his wife (Aruna Irani) and two kids and one in his wife's womb. But Dogra doesn’t want her children to be influenced by Dogra's criminal ways, and thus leaves the house one day after a huge fight. A few days later, Paramjeet Singh (Alok Nath), who is Dogra's childhood friend but a Police Commisioner now, comes to arrest him but is insulted by Dogra. A few days later, Paramjeet comes with a warrant. Dogra tries to escape but it results in firing at Dogra's place which results in fire all over the place. Dogra's two kids who are inside the house manage to come out, and by mistake two other kids who came in to take their ball are killed. But Dogra mistakes it as their own children's death and wows to avenge their death. The eldest son of Dogra is found in Paramjeet 's car whom Paramjeet brings up very lovingly while the other son of Dogra ends up being brought up by Baba (Mohan Joshi), who is a small-time goon. Years later, Jai (Sunil Shetty), Dogra's eldest son has grown up to be a upright cop while his second son Raj (Aditya Panscholi) works for a now big Don Baba. Dogra's youngest son Sunny (Saif Ali Khan) is a carefree goon who lives with her mother. Raj falls for Shilpa (Neelam), who in turn loves Jai. Sunny loves Jai's foster-sister Kiran (Pratibha Sinha). Will the Dogra family ever re-unite?
