    A heart warming tale about an estranged couple, Sukanto and Maloti. Sukanto, an officer and an intellectual egoist of modern urban life, cannot come to terms with his talented wife's ambitions and thus they two start to live separate hoors ?of the same house as strangers. Sukanto and Maloti are a childless cpouple. Sukanto loves his niece more than any thing else. Maloti too loves the niece to a next level ?. Mali, a master's student is on the mission of reuniting her beloved uncle and aunty. She finds her friend in Shaker, the topper of her University. While they two fight directly and indirectly against each other, Mili and Shakhar try their best to reunite them by making out several plans. Mili's father and Sukanto's elder brother is disgusted with his brother's stubborness and empty egoism and he too wants to clear all misconceptions and qualms with his wife. In the mean while, Sukanto leaves for a vacation with Shekar to the Sunderbans, without informing any one and this creates a havoc in the family. When Sukanto returns, he finds that his wife Maloti has left home permanently with out leaving her whereabouts. Sukanto after loosing Maloti realises what Maloti actually meant to him. In the mean while, the love birds Shekar and Mili decide to tie the knot. Sukanto is happy from out side but in true sense, he is absoulutrely devastated without his wife. The marriage ceremony starts and finally Sukanto meets his wife accidentally in an empty room. He is overjoyed but when Maloti turns away with out speaking, he decides to leave the function. Sukanto's elder brother tries to pull him back by every means but fails. Even when Sukanto is on the verge of crying and weeping from inside, he shows his ego. He bids farewell to the newly married couple and sits in his car only to be shocked as he discovers that Maloti is already sitting in the car. Finally the egoist skin ? drops down and love and humanisnm prevails. Sukanto is overwhelmed. His realisation comes late, but as it is said "better late than never" The interesting duo drive on their way back home. A happy ending of a story, which depicts the irrationality of the so called relation ? and enlighten class ?.
