This is a real glamour movie!. Things shown are most similar to the actual happenings though tactfully it denies this. Mr Bhanderkar is a remarkable director and knows what are the in things of the society. Good representation also by the charecters. It is well told story which
will make happy many aspirants. » read more

I like the movie. though it has many similarities with Madhur's another film "Page 3" . the movie tells an unending human tale of ambition, success, degradation and re-emergence set against the backdrop of the fashion industry.
Madhur Bhandarkar indulges in a lot of clichés (like gay designers and exploiting bosses) but perhaps they could not have been avoided. After all, clichés they may be, they reflect the truth. Trouble starts when Madhur’s(the protagonist) passion with his subjects begins to supersede their relevance to the story. That’s where ‘Fashion’ becomes ... » read more

Fashion kept me rivetted from the beginning to the end. Not once did my concentration lapse. A very absorbing movie all in all.

It was only a little before the end, that I realised that there was no real male protagonist in the movie and it was very female centric, however, I saw that my husband also did not find anything amiss and could relate to the movie as much as I did.

A great opportunity in the form of author backed roles for Priyanka and Kangana, both of whom deliver great performances. A point or two extra to Kangana, who ... » read more

Ek Aur Tasveer Ka Doosra Rukh.

Fully committed to explore and showcase the other side of all verticals of our society, Madhur Bhandarkar once again ensembles a near perfect star-cast for a plot woven around a seen but lesser exposed fashion industry lifestyle. Here is how he succeeds in this…

A local beauty queen Meghana (Priyanka) of Chandigarh aspires to become a supermodel against the wishes of her parents (Raj Babbar and Kiran Juneja), and proceeds for Mumbai. Her struggle starts with meeting designer assistant Rohit (Ashwin Mushran) and model coordinator ... » read more

This movie has Priyanka Chopra at her best. She has successfully portrayed the emotional ups and downs faced by models in that glitzy world. Bhandarkar, as always, has managed to expose the nasty side of the glamour world without making it gross. The message is conveyed to us in an efficient way through some superb performances, teamed with unparalleled direction and a fantastic script. Kangana Ranaut has now turned it into a habit to accept roles that require her to be drunk and get beaten up. It would do her good to try new areas. Mugdha the new girl is convincing enough ... » read more

Fashion is a good movie.....A lot of research done by Madhur Bhandarkar on Fashion doubt about performance by all the actors.
It shows all the glamorous side of fashion people. The second half is very heartrending.....It shows the dark side of the modelling world.
if someone is planning to take up modelling as their career then he/she should see this movie to get some useful tips on style and glamour world…..
Even the gay issue has been exaggerated to some extent......the movie initially had two male actors Samir Soni and Anil Kumar ... » read more

Madhur is back with his Jalwa…

Yet another well packaged offering from Madhur Bhandarkar…while I already had high expectation, the movie delivers over and above them!

Priyanka is lucky to have had the opportunity to do this movie, and she does a fantastic job! Kangana is good, and Mugdha gets noticed for her acting!

The movie packages great insights, using ‘Fashion’ as a platform, it unfold the situations etc that are still quite relatable and hard-hitting for all. Like the choices you get to make in life define what you become, your real values ... » read more

Performance in such type of films have to be of top level or else the movie falls flat, thus Fashion has few very good performances. Kangana Ranaut shows a spark in the first half, but does not rise above her past performance in the second half, still a good job. Mughda Godse has done an impressive debut as Priyanka’s Friend with total confidence and conviction. Arbaaz Khan delivers a different side of him and does proper justice to his role. Sameer Soni, harsh Chaya, Ashwin Mushran and Kitu Gidwani gives us one of their careers best performances. New comer Arjan bajwa ... » read more

    Madhur Ka Hain Yeh Jalwa….

There are few Directors who love to be typecast in what they have done in past, then there are those who try to do everything except making a good film. But there are also makers like Madhur Bhandarkar, who not only makes a good and different film but also makes movies on such subject which are totally new and not explored before. It needs guts to attempt such different type of subjects and presenting them with total simplicity and conviction. After venturing on unknown subjects like Dance bar, Social parties, Corporate World, Beggars ... » read more

The genre of 'reality cinema' has another success; and Fashion may outclass Madhur Bhandarkar's other flicks as well.

It's that everyone's fascination and inquisitiveness about the F world that is fed so well. Performances by all the protagonists in the filml are superb, complimenting well with the pace and smart film-making. Not once you feel out of context or drab. Keeping the junta hooked for over a couple of hours is no mean task and Fashion is worth rushing into the theatres. » read more
