    Dance Pe Chance mar le!

It feels really great that many films in recent are now taking such subject on dance and trying to explore this field. But unfortunately they are not making a good business but atleast they are trying to explore the dance stream, that’s I think more than enough.

A badly remake done from one of the Hollywood movie “Fast Forward” (1985) starring John Scott, Don Franklin and others. The plot by which they had copied was too good, but the direction by the debutant Zaigam Ali Sayed was awful followed by terrible screenplay.

The actual story of this film revolves around two friends Rishi (Rehan Khan) and Sunny (Akshay Kappor). They and their friends made one group named as “Zeroes” who actually were very passionate to their dance. Some wanted to get famous and some wanted to earn many money, but all of their dreams was to just rock-n-roll on a big stage in front of thousand people for just once. They wanted to explore their talent for just once. Soon they got an opportunity to meet one man, Palaash Bhai (Vinod Khanna), who is the owner of one stage called as ‘Cave’ where all the new talented dancers explore their talents and the audiences judge their talent and make them champions. Rishi and Sunny came there with their group and won in front of the Vicky (Siddhanth Karnick) and his group who was actually the continuous 3time winner group of the Cave earlier. Vicky challenged him again for the 10lakh bet. Palaash bhai declared a period of one month. Rishi took a loan from one local famous goon Jangla bhai (Mahesh Majrekar) and started practicing day and night with his friends.

Now after one month at the time of the competition something terrible happened and they found out that all of the steps were being copied by Vicky and his group. How did they found out is a big suspense for you, that can only be discovered after watching it. But the main point was that, they lose the competition. Now that Jangla bhai is after that Rishi for the money. Rishi and Sunny had become enemies. All bad days begun. But on a sudden note one opportunity came, Radio Mirchi launches the Dance Talent Show “Fast Forward”, and whoever group wins will en-cash the prize amount of Rs.25 Lakhs. Sunny is not in the team, Rishi’s sister wants to join the dance group but Rishi is not allowing her and all dramatic episode starts here. But ignoring that, do watch the Climax dance Show. You will surely enjoy it and will clap it thoroughly from your heart. Worth Watchable!

    Plus Points:

    1. The dance numbers, steps, Video Songs, etc.
    2. Decent performances by all of them.
    3. All the actors and actresses are so talented in their dance.
    4. Brilliant Choreography.
    5. Climax Dance Show – A must watch.

    Minus Points:

    1. Awful direction.
    2. Poor Script/Screenplay.
    3. Vinod Khanna and Mahesh Manjrekar wasted.
    4. Dreadful Editing (Except the Video Songs)

Overall 5 plus points and 4 minus points but 2 of them were major, Direction and Screenplay. So before rating, this movie is only recommendable who are having a die-hard passion in dance. A must watch for them.

Rating: 1.5 for the overall film & 0.5 for the “Taali Bajao” Climax Dance Show. 2 / 5
