Banks don't move. So, people take to robbing liquid gold on movie in super trailers in Dominican Republic. Don't miss the opening chase of tankers and subsequent heist with cars. Dominic Toretto (Vin Diesel) leads the crimes committed on roads and lives on it. However, police movements too close for comfort makes him go underground. though not for long. When his sister, Mia (Jordana Brewster) calls to inform him, that his love, Letty (Michelle Rodriguez) has been killed, he goes after the killers with vengeance.
The scene, when Dom is standing at the scene of the crime and reconstructs the crime, as it happened is one of the special moments in the movie. On the other side of crime, Agent Brian O'Connor (Paul Walker) is trying to regain his position at FBI by going for the kill in getting the kingpin of drug mafia. Dom continues with his love-hate relationship with Agent O'Connor in this film of the series.
Dom and Agent O'Connor are going for the same guys in different ways, till they decide to work together in a do or die situation. Through chase in precision tunnels in US-Mexico border, you get a taste of video game graphics / simulation. Obviously, the fastest driver can move expensive cargo across borders. Dom and Agent O'Connor go to the den of the mafia kingpin and manage to take hostage, the main guy. And more chases and crashes later, they win. Obviously, you don't expect them to fail in their mission and the inevitable happens.
Few things like, how Dom could move around in earth shattering loud cars, till the last scene, when he is on the run have to be discounted. You can watch the movie, even without having watched any of the earlier versions. After all, you just need to catch up on the speed.
The ending leaves opportunity for the next in the series. When the franchise is so successful and the audience willing, that is expected. ;-)
