Jaane Tu...Rahman's best album in the last 5 years?

Description: I think that Jaane Tu is one of the best music albums that Rahman has composed in the last 5 years.

There are many in his list. It's difficult to compare music for each movie / album, when all of them comes from someone great like A.R.Rehman. This is definitely one of the best...

not really....when you take the last five years of rahman there are quite a few movies in shich he has given better music probably...rang de basanti, jodha akbar, yuva or even guru...oh how could i forget swades!!! maybe thats my favourite!!!....definitely beat jaane tu...though the music of jaane tu is certainly very nice and refershing but maybe the not too sure of that

    That's a good perspective :)

Ya surely its one of the best..but not the there are many of Rehman compositions that are way above such as taal, yuva, saathiya, rang de basanti etc... But Jaane tu ya jaane naa certainly is a nice change over from rehman after rang de basanti and jodha akbar, giving a youthful soundtrack which is being loved by most youngsters especially is really good to see...

i think we were hearing lots of soul music from rehman in last few years; for instance, guru was like being in that lush green landscape of a non-polluted village. but Jaane Tu is entirely urban; fast, peppy and dont-i-care kind. it's certainly different from our modern-day Anu Malik sree Pritam, the bearded xerox machine!! :)

    A. R. Rahman is the other name for versatility. For every Lagaan, there is a Yuva, for every Swades there is Rang De Basanti and for every Jodhaa Akbar, there is a Jaane Tu. However, I would still rate RDB higher than Jaane Tu. It depends if people are still humming Jaane Tu when the next Rahman's music piece is released (and is another big hit)

Hey Varisha.... the album works the same way for me...I can listen to the songs again and again and I still haven't got bored....that speaks a lot for it.
