Guess the Celeb

Who am I?

I am actress, still trying to make my foothold strong in Bollywood. I had made a debut in Bollywood in 2004 but that went unnoticed and I moved on to south industry.

Women's empowerment inversely proportionate with Bollywood trends!

Description: On one hand in real life we hear of stories and see incidents of women empowerment, with more and more women in the corporate world...seen in positions of power, an increasing ratio of women pilots etc. However, in Bollywood the objectification of women seems to be increasing at an alarming trend. More and more skin show is ruling the roost, the top female actors are vying to have the sexiest bodies to get them the plum assignemnets, such that as role models for younger girls, they are setting an example of "If you're not hot you ain't cool".

So on one hand we have women empowering themselves while on the other hand they want to look hot to be thought of as cool and to appease or attract the menfolk.(which is going back to objectification).

Isn't this a strange paradox? What do you think?
