I am actress, still trying to make my foothold strong in Bollywood. I had made a debut in Bollywood in 2004 but that went unnoticed and I moved on to south industry.

Don't know about the legality. But it seems like the age old 'subscription vs ad revenue' debate. I have seen (while working in MR for the print media) that most publications make money from the ad revenue rather than from subscription (the latter is a much more paltry amount). It seems that the same applies for cable.

it may be ok for cable but what about direct to home? In a country like ours the revenue cant be very paltry , atleast there can be a limit to the ads and its timings
