Gajamukta is an adventurous story of an outsider who visits a family in search of gajayamukta and finally unveils a poignant history behind bravery. The viewer enters the story with Tom Alter and looks at the narvrative from his point of view. The viewer is as new as the stranger and gradually gets familiar with all the folks. The story is a painful saga of an aristorcratic family. The zamindar's of the family enjoy the brutal game of killing wild elephants. The story is mainly about the miseries that come along with this violent game and partly about human relationships and their intimacy with the forest.
