Gauri Khan, the erstwhile Gauri Chibber, was born on 8th October 1970 and is the wife of filmstar Shahrukh Khan and she has two children Aryan Khan born 12th November 1997 and Suhana Khan, born 23rd May 2000. Gauri is also a movie producer.
She was born in New Delhi, India. She finished her schooling from Modern School, New Delhi and graduated in History from Lady Sriram College.
Gauri has been the producer of a few films, such as Paheli, Main Hoon Na, and Om Shanti Om, all of which had Shahrukh as the lead actor. She also made a short guest appearance in Om Shanti Om.
She did a short stint on television, when she hosted a weekly Hindi music countdown show, "Oye", for a music channel in the 1990s. She is the face of the fashion line, Aftershock. Along with Shahrukh Khan, Gauri is part-owner and part-producer of the production company, Red Chillies Entertainment (RCE). Farah Khan launched her directorial career with the movie, Main Hoon Na (2004) produced under the Red Chillies Entertainment, banner.
Gauri was given the title of the queen of Bollywood at the Zee Cine Awards in 2008. She also appeared on the January 2008 cover of the Indian edition of Vogue magazine. She is otherwise known to be media shy and reticent.
