Ghajini is superb. According to me Ghajini is Aamir and Aamir is Ghajini. Nice story (I have not seen the Tamil version or memento) , strong acting from Aamir and team. Tinu anand impressive in the cameo. Jia is also good. Asin, I felt there was some tendency of over acting. Some actions and chase have south flavour. Also I realy feel that against Aamir the villains should be little short in height :P
Else the movie is very well researched and presented in an excellent way, especially keeping the note of everything and in proper places.
A good movie to store in your movie library. » read more

Ghazini is undoubtedly the worst Amir Khan movie. The only difference between Ghazini and any B grade Tamil action movie is that the characters are not speaking Tamil. It is a 3 hour long mayhem of meaningless violence and utterly nonsense action drama. Watching Amir in this movie is as disappointing as watching Amitabh in chayanprash ad. Why Amir did such a movie is anybody’s guess. Did he want to prove that he can do anything that Sharukh and Salman can do, perhaps even better? Anybody who watched Sarfarosh will agree that without a 6 or 8 or 10 pack Amir can exhibit ... » read more

    Hauntingly Bad!

I give Ghajini 2 stars for the haunting feeling it leaves in your mind after you are done watching it. There is Nothing special about the movie. 6 pack or 8 pack doesnt even comes into consideration, the script, the screenplay, the acting, everything is a letdown. It feels unrealistic and eerie. Definitely not the Aamir Khan class. A similar themed movie Criminal with Manisha Koirala and Nagarjuna was a much better fare and much less taxing to your nerves. The story is incomprehendible and I cant comprehend every one raving about Asin. She is ... » read more

BAKWAAS, PATHETIC, TOTALLY A HEADACHE FILM!!!
IN AN ACTUAL WORD THE FILM WAS A 3D MADE OF ANY OF THE MITHUNDA’S FILM. THE ONLY THING WORTH WATCHING IN THIS FILM WAS AAMIR KHAN.
NOW JUST IMAGINE HOW A PERSON COULD REMEMBER ALMOST EVERYTHING EVEN HE IS SUFFERING FROM A SHORT TERM MEMORY LOSS WHO JUST FORGETS EVERYTHING WHAT HAS HAPPENED BEFORE 15MINS. NOBODY RECOGNIZE THE BUSINESS TYCOON SANJAY SINGHANIA EVEN AFTER GIVING MANY INTERVIEWS LIVE. HEROINE IS ROAMING WITH THE HERO AND SPENDING SO MUCH TIME TOGETHER BUT STILL NOT BEING ABLE TO RECOGNIZE WHO IS THE HERO. ... » read more

    Hey Muscular Hey Popular!!!

Many a times the filmmakers down-south show more creativity than their bollywood counterparts, even if it’s an inspired concept. This is one such example.

Sanjay Singhania (Aamir) returns to India after higher education abroad, fully focused to fulfill his father’s dream of making their mobile-phone company AirVoice the largest in India. A wannabe model-cum-actress Kalpana Shetty (Asin) builds up some more unplanned activities for him. She gives a gossip interview to “Mayapuri” reporter (Kunal Vijaykar) about her romantic link-up ... » read more

Okay, year-end confession time - I guess I am not going to like gory action hindi films any more..sigh..guess that's what months of passive intake of real terrorist violence thru the media up close does to you! Can I please not have any more depictions of senseless violent hammering out of innocent n beautiful human lives by those who care a damn about them?! I went to sleep last night after watching 'Ghajini' feeling not nice at all..and even had nightmares. But then that's personal. Lets get to the review.

Yes, perhaps its passe now to talk about how the biggest ... » read more

TAKES ONE BACK TO THE 1990s

I saw Ghajini a little late in the day. So I was privy to a lot of feedback in terms of discussions with friends, reviews on gomolo.in. The expectations were pulled down considerably. I was expecting the blood and the gore and hence was not too taken aback by the same.

What was good about the film was Aamir Khan. I know that it is fashionable and trendy to talk about the little Khan, but I cannot but help talk about how every shot and expression that he gave in that movie was perfect and that there wasn't a single scene of ... » read more

well a total rip off from the tamil one as i have heard from lots of people who have seen the tamil version of ghajini. The first 10 minutes i was totally lost on understanding whats happening and why? no clue just an abrupt start ... then suddenly things fall into line ... the knitting in the initial part is very loose ..... music is good .... asin seems to look like arti chhabria in some parts .. otherwise she is good but way to go to be super actress in bollywood for this sandalwood queen. For me its an average attempt from Amir Khan keeping in mind the kind of movies ... » read more

First thing first do not expect a TZP or RDB or for that matter any of the Aamir khan movie. this is a very unlike Aamir movie. In this year when escapist cinema had done wonders at box office be it Singh is King, Golmaal Returns and Rab Ne bana di jodi, Ghajini is one more movie added to the list.
The story everybody knows now so no need to elaborate on it again. Ghajini gaurantees non stop entertainment from start to finish. By the time you think why someting has happened we are already into the next reel. The movie is fast paced and thats the reason the 3 ... » read more

A GOOD ACTION FILM CAN ONLY BE SAID IF THERE IS A GOOD CAMERA WORK, GOOD EDITING AND OFCOURSE A GOOD ACTING SKILLS. IN THIS FILM THERE IS BOTH, A GOOD CAMERA WORK, MARVELLOUS EDITING JOB SPECIALLY THE WORK DONE IN ALL THE SONG. IN AN ACTION FILM, STORY LINE DOESN’T MATTER AT ALL. THE STORY LINE WOULD OBVIOUS BE THE SAME OLD AS WE HAVE SEEN IN MANY OF THE FILMS. ALTHOUGH THE STORY WAS ALSO BEEN DECLARED VERY EARLIER BEFORE THE RELEASE. IT GOES LIKE THIS, “AAMIR KHAN’S URF SANJAY SINGHANIA’S GIRFRIEND KALPANA URF “ASIN” WAS KILLED AND NOW HE IS SET TO TAKE REVENGE. THE ... » read more
