Speechless movie. This film had won many many awards just like the film “Slumdog Millionare”. Brilliant story, fabulous Direction and a stunning Performance by Dev Anand and Waheeda Rehman, but please watch it for Dev Anand. Excellent performance given by him. The film tells you the life of a Guide, what stages he had been passed, how he falls in love with a married woman, how he becomes millionaire from a local poor guide and how he went to jail and at the end he becomes saint and decides to follow his heart and help the poor and needy people. Too good movie! A must watch ... » read more

I have seen Dev Anand's Guide fifteen times or more in the past 40 years. It is my all time favourite Hindi film. Everything about this film is great and no wonder it won 7 Filmfare Awards in 1966. It tells you about what one aspires to become in life and what one eventually becomes. Great Story, Great acting, Fantastic dances and mind boggling songs and dialogues. Great direction and photography.

Just the best I have ever seen. A perfect example of Communication gap and human relationship going completely wrong.

Long live Dev Sahab. » read more

Only the adjetives "superlatives"can be ascribed to "Guide'. Vijay Anand gave the superb direction with impeccable screen-play. Dev Anand has given the best performance in the role "Raju'. No other character in hs long film career is so catchy and touchy as in "Guide". Waheeda is fittest to his role "Rosie". S.D Burman has showered the most precious gems fromhis treasury.
Raju, a tourist guide comes across the husband and wife, Marco and Rosie. Rosie has profound bent for dancing, which her scholar is strongly opposed to. But, Raju tries to unearth the latent potentials ... » read more
