Gulaal synopsis (Story)
The film Gulaal is about an innocent student Dileep who comes to Jaipur to study, accompanied by his faithful servant Bhanwar. IMPACTFUL STIRRINGS (STRINGS) OF THE SOUL The album leaves an impact, and takes you back to another like it, ‘Omkara’. Well the similarity in tenor running through the album is not surprising, given that Piyush Mishra and Vishal Bharadwaj go back a long way to their Delhi University days. There is a song called "Ranaji" in the movie which is a mujra number performed by Mahie Gill, of Dev D fame. It is known that Mahie performed the song despite being in severe pain because of a back injury She shot the song in less than eight hours, without showing her discomfort and with great professionalism.
