Well I had a huge expextation from the music of the film and I must say the album definitely lived upto my expectations .Indradeep Dasgupta has scored a mindblowing album once again. The songs are not exactly ones to play on the dance floor but as i would say they are a genuine treat for your soul ; a balm for the cluttered mind after a tiring day.

"Ghore Pherar Gaan" by Vishal Dadlani is a rocking track with foot-tapping music as well as energetic lyrics that will bring a smile to your face. And the USP is Vishal doesnt sound like a non-bengali for even a second.

"Din_Khon_Mapa_Ache" by Arijit Singh is a joyride to be precise. Its something very new and unique in today's bengali music. It has the fun of jazz and innoncene of bengali folk punched together beautifully.

Rabindranath Tagore's " Mor_Bhabonare" has three versions ,one Shahana Bajpai , another by Saptarshi Mukherjee and the third is a duet by both of them and both of them leave you completely rejuvenated . I waould like to add that the video of the song that is out on youtube is also a must watch .Indradeep Dasgupta and Parambrata Chattopadhyay has proved that in order to make Tagore's music modern and reach out to the younger generation you dont always need to remix it . Tagore is universal and you can cross the limitations of generations just through portrayal of some innocently beautiful moments .

"Bhoy_Dekhas_Na_Please" is another track with three versions by K.Mohan , Arijit Singh and Sunidhi Chauhan . Arijit and Sunidhi perform well , though Arijit's voice sounds more homely . But its Mohan with his The Agnee Version who steals the show with his sombre yet sober voice . The lyrics are sure to pull at the strings of your heart . We all at a point of time want to return back to our loved world but sometimes a fear or hesitation lingers on . Mohan beautifully captures that feeling in his voice . It is one of the best written lyrics I personally have heard this year . One line has just etched itself in my heart: "jani pherar pore tui amay hatte dekleo chinbina ' tor dewa e daak name bhul koreo ar daakbina "( I know if I return you won't recognise me even as I walk by . Nor would you mistakenly call me by the nick name you had given me once lovingly )

The last one is " Mone_Porle" by Arijit Singh . This man continues to charm once again with his voice that can make you addicted to him . It is a romantic song coupled with beautiful poetic lines that is sure to impress anybody .
On a whole I give the album 4.5 out of 5 as I am presently just addicted to it .
