Every year Bollywood is kind enough to give us new ideas of third degree torture in the form of faltu films and this year has been no different only this time Bollywood had outdone itself by giving us a faltu film with good looking actors in it! Hide and Seek is more like Santa calling Santa in the middle of the March. If I had to write a review for this film in 3 words it would be Don’t Watch It!!!

Not that bad to hide it…

The story of this film is very common and we must have seen many other films like this one, in Bollywood’s and also in Hollywood’s. But what I believe is no matter how old the story is or how it is being inspired by some other film, unless or until it entertains me. “Hide n Seek” is more or less the film which we may have seen en-numerous times in our life. But now let’s see as a mango people, how much it does entertain us.

    Not that bad for Shawn…

Think of I Know What You Did Last Summer or Valentine. All blood-soaked stories about attractive young people. Hide and Seek follows a similar format of chasing a bunch of friends through time, in order to settle a few forgotten scores from the sordid past. It tries to be a Bollywood slasher film, but overall it doesn’t have the requisite thrill-and- chill factor. The plot isn’t half bad and debutant director Shawn Arranha works hard to create suspense and a sense of claustrophobia in the darkened mall. Shawn surprises you in his very first outing. It may not be the most ... » read more

    Ok…

Hide & Seek rating: 4 out of 10

Samir Kochhar leaves a strong impact. Amruta Patki impresses well. Arjan Bajwa gets the look and feel of the character right. Ayaz Khan was decent and Mrinalini Sharma springs a pleasant surprise with a 'spirited' performance. The show stealer was the Purab Kohli. He was super-efficient, as always. He has acted as a mental patient very efficiently. On the whole the performances by the lead actors are neat and overall good with every member putting his/her best foot forward.
