Music Review -
Track 1 - 'Naino Mein Sapna'
Singers - Amit Kumar and Shreya Ghoshal
Bringing back the magic of 80's,Sajid-wajid
recreates the original 'Ta thaiya' song
that was pictured on Jeetendra and Sridevi,
resulted out to be a chartbuster.Similarly
this time,we can all cherish the same
accomplishment here. There is lot to look
after to music. One can revive those powerful tabla and chandes that are totally
addictive while the sitar tunes are captivating and stick drums coordinated very well along mighty orchestra.Sung originally by legendary Kishore Kumar and
Indian Melody Queen Lata Mangeshkar,
Sajid-wajid tries the combo of Amit Kumar
and Shreya Ghoshal who does perfectly well
giving it a bygone touch that is plume.
This one is good to hook to. Nicely sung and Great music.

Track 2 - 'Taki Taki'
Singers - Mika Singh,Shreya Ghoshal
Another remake of 'O taki taki' song from
original and almost reprising the same
theme.Well lets be totally honest, the song
is good and a nicely rendered attempt.
Mika's edgy voice and sweet shreya are the
only reason to give it a try. A hint of
foot-tapping music relating to rowdy rathore typo and carnatic music is finely
used. Overall, a bit of drilled boring song.
-------------------------------------------
Track 3 - 'Dhoka Dhoka'
Singers - Mamta Sharma, Sunidhi Chauhan,
Bappi Lahiri.
Its time for some disco-dance masala fare.
Relying more on electric ostinato and well
managed pace that is groovy. Its again Mamta
sharma that impresses a lot with her spicy
vocals while sunidhi does her part good too,Bappi sir just emphasises little at the
end that is Okaish. Lyrics are 'hatke' and
crunchy especially with those mix of South
and Punjabi verbose.Lets wait to see where
is this song placed.Hope it does the same
what 'Aa re Pritam Pyaare' did.
-------------------------------------------
Track 4 - 'Bum Pe laat'
Singer - Shaan ,Soham,Shubh Mukherjee.
Next comes 'Bum Pe laat' sung by melodious
shaan. Easily a Kiddy song with some funny
music, comic strip and hisses. Its a average
number you wanna skip too rather listening
to wasted 3 minutes fare.
-------------------------------------------
Track 5 - 'Thanks God its Friday'
Singer - Sunidhi Chauhan
As per news,Sonakshi Sinha will be dancing
on this item number. It has some addictive
moments but flaws too.Disco beats and
rhythmic chorals are impressive that adds up high energy.Sunidhi chauhan's variations
are crazy and funny.Overall,its lyrics
are bit disappointing that justifies the end results.

Final Verdict -
To sum up, Himmatwala S.T may have some
promise but it is unlikely to find a place in charts-topper list. Sajid-wajid have always given atleast one chartbuster song in their previous fares but here, we are
in a 50-50 doubted state. The fate of this
S.T totally depends on the way it is pictured in movie. As per the promise,Sajid
wajid fly-high but as per results,its a
dilemma. Its a Promising prospect that turns
out to be a average one.Could have been better.
