    Bappaditya Bandyapadhyay makes a return with Houseful after his last released film Kaal. He could have made an interesting film with the character of Nikhil deciding to make a Tamil flick on the advice of his assistant, but the moment he decides to against it , but the moment he decided against it and does just as he wants, the film has a changed storyline.

    In The foreground we see Prosenjit Chatterjee wearing a black T-shirt on which printed “High definition: 1. See Film” and in the background a huge poster of Ritwick Ghatak’s “Jukti Takko Aar Gappo”.
    This is not only a particular frame of Bappaditya Bandyopadhyay’s latest film “House Full”, but also the crux of the entire film. The film suffers from this dichotomy throughout.     A perfect film.

    If 'bollywood' had made it, it might have run into political censor trouble..

    bappaditya is the true inheritor of Riwik Ghatak. Like late Ghatak, He has his own idiom which is *not* ritwik's nor anyone else's though I feel he has assimilated Luis Bunual - and others - in his own way.
