Housefull is exactly what Director cum funny man Sajid Khan does best. Slapstick, sprinkled with double meaning, cheap-but-still-we-laugh comedy all around. Yes, it makes you laugh. Of course you shouldn’t try to find intelligence and cinematic delicacies. It punches the run of the mill gay jokes, Gujju humors to pep up the experience. Music is a real let down, with exception of the track – Mika’s ‘Apni Toh Jaise Taise’. Shankar-Ehsaan-loy’s scores are undoubtedly the worst of their career so far. Have you ever felt like not wanting to watch a movie after listening to its music? Now you know where this review is heading. The music of Housefull (yes, two ‘l’s, probably some lame numerology thing) is an assault on your ears, senses and your whole being. I don’t remember a mainstream Hindi movie having such horrendous music in recent times. Appalling.
