Prem (Salman Khan) falls in love with Nisha (Madhuri Dixit). Prem's elder brother Rajesh (Monish Behl) and Nish'a elder sister Pooja (Renuka) get married. Everything goes smoothly, but one day Pooja falls from the stairs accidently and dies. Now Rajesh is worried about their child . The family suggests that Nisha get married to Rajesh. Nisha and Prem decide to sacrifice their love for the family, but ultimately the truth comes out and Nisha and Prem are married.
