    I can’t think straight – What a title!

I think almost everyone of us had been already guessed that what would be the story all about. Written and Directed by Shamim Sarif, just one word for – Good Job done!

The story has been presentable to us in a too simplest way, but the direction is being presentable to us in a very innovative way. That’s where it shows that how the Miss Shamim Sarif is so talented. Each and every characterization is good, different angle shots are pretty much impressive, the lesbian scene are not looking like a lust scene but it was purely looking like the two soul enjoying the greatest gift given by the god. Each and every dialogue is being handled very carefully; each and every gesture by the two artists is being handled in amazingly. Once you will flow into the story of the film you will definitely feel that the two souls are in deeply “love”. You will forget that the both are actually women. That’s what the talent speaks, especially from the Writer and The Director Shamim Sarif, that she had actually shown us the ‘true love’ and not as trying to show as a true love but it was more looking like a ‘true lust’.
    Hats Off Miss Shamim Sarif!

The plot is being already guessed and the story is pretty much simple. Tala (Lisa Ray) is about get married with Sam (Ernest Ignatius), whom she liked. Leyla (Sheetal Seth) was dating with Ali (Rez Kempton) who was the best friend of Tala. Leyla and Tala met each other with ofcourse the help of the common man Ali. Tala was a very open minded, kind of bindass girl and Leyla was a kind of shy girl. Leyla finds something interesting in Tala, and the same way she felt for Leyla. Soon they both got close to each other, and one fine day they both discovered that they have fell in love with other and can’t live without each other. But now the problem was that, Tala was about get married and Leyla was commited to Ali. What would be the end now?

I was wondering that they plot and the story is pretty much simple, but what would be its end? What message will the director will try to convey the audience? And the result, extremely beautiful!

    The message is that,

NO.1: When you have found out the truth about your sexuality then the first step is to be “Be Honest” to your parents. Just don’t think that they will understand it or not, they are your parents so they are the perfect person who will understand your feelings comparing it with the entire world.
In this movie, Tala and Leyla’s parents were the only one who said them “I Understand”

NO.2: In the climax of the film Tala and Leyla were separated because of some misunderstanding, but the sister of Leyla decided to reunite them, and she did it without knowing them. What a wonderful teaching!

Brilliant and spectacular performance given by Lisa Ray and Sheetal Seth. Music and Background Score were just fantabulous. Cinematography, Editing, Art Direction, Costumes, Casting, Characterization, was so just impressive.

Overall, a good job done By Shamim Sarif and the team. A must watch this thought provoking film.
