I think almost everyone of us had been already guessed that what would be the story all about. Written and Directed by Shamim Sarif, just one word for – Good Job done!

The story has been presentable to us in a too simplest way, but the direction is being presentable to us in a very innovative way. I just recently listened in E! News that this film is actually based on a true story of Shamim Sarif's life, or at least a part of it. As a Director I think she did a good job. It's not a great movie, but it is entertaining and very meaningful.

Overall, the movie was very ... » read more

Arranged marriages and their parents who wants to marry you off to the most suitable husband. Usually the man who comes from the most prestigious family, who is very successful, tall, very handsome, etc. But what about if the daughter is gay? Much harder to imagine I feel and 'I Can't Think Straight' portrays this matter very well.

The movie is full of alluring cinematography and ... » read more
