    Glouriously fascinating!

You know, it's a Quentin Tarantino movie, when the feet of a character plays an important role in the movie climax. In a likely reference to the Cinderella story, the shoe fitting the girl is used to identify a person. You know, it's a Tarantino movie otherwise, too. It's stamped all over. With another recent movie, Bryan Singer's Valkyrie, roughly covering the same topic you wonder, what new twist could be there to the same story of yet another attempt to kill Hitler. But, then...you can't be more surprised with how Tarantino treats the subject. Probably made with utmost ... » read more

American film-War between Americans & Germans-Now guess who would win?

It’s but naturally Americans….Always!!! It’s just like there is a Bollywood film, in that we are showing some match between India & Pakistan, so now tell me who would win at the end. Naturally we India na! This film is exactly the way it has to be.

The story is being said in the era of 1944. The era where the World War 2 was being in course of action. During this World War 2 a group of Jewish-American soldiers known as "The Basterds" were chosen specifically to spread fear throughout ... » read more

    Sorry I’m Late!

I went into this movie expecting nothing and hoping for something. I had really enjoyed Kill Bill vol 1&2 and after recently re-watching them on DVD back-to-back, I can say now that I REALLY enjoyed Kill Bill 1&2... but it still did not hold a candle to Pulp Fiction or even Reservoir Dogs for that matter.

I'm here to tell you that Inglourious Basterds is an absolute masterpiece... FAR surpassed my wildest hopes and blows Kill Bill out of the water. I dare say it may even top Pulp Fiction in my books after a few more viewings.

    I ... » read more

Excited after reading reviews...left VERY disappointed

I was so disappointed by this Tarantino film. He is one of my favorite film makers / writers, but I must say his films are so on and off. After seeing this film I've seriously began to consider boycotting any future films he releases. I feel as though the high rating on this film reflects the idiocy of the North American demographic. I couldn't believe that people would laugh at some of the "funny" moments of this film...totally uncalled for moments that were not funny at all. I considered leaving the film ... » read more

    Inglourious Basterds: Very good!!

Definitely worth seeing. Almost as good as Pulp Fiction. Inglourious Basterds really tries too hard. Brad Pitt, Eli Rothhas done a remarkable job.

Although stellar performances by Christopher Walz and Diane Kruger deserve raves, Brad Pitt's was an unfunny caricature and provided lots of dead screen time.

Energetic, inventive, swaggering fun, Quentin Tarantino's Inglourious Basterds is a consummate Hollywood entertainment--rich in fantasy and blithely amoral. » read more

I think this is the best Tarentino film - Very relistic - Although the film has some grusome action the people are with the protagonists and so anyone will like it - AWESOME Nazi film. Brad Pitt has iven some memorable erfoprmances and this one goes in as one more feather in his cap
My only hope is that noone copies or adapts this film in Hindi because it is a benchmark and just seen in its original form. » read more
