      Jannat 2 music rating: 8 out of 10(Sumit wrote on Mar 31 2012 3:28AM)

      Recommended Songs- Tu Hi Mera, Tujhe Sochta Hoon, Rab Ka Shukrana, Jannatein Kahan.

      Hello, Friends..the first and exclusive music review of this movie i have posted on 21/3/12 ( Before 10 days of official music release) on different websites of music reviews..( It is Proved- you get Exclusive Music Reviews on this page).

      1. This is Exclusive Music Review of the most awaited movie of the year Emraan Hashmi's Jannat 2.Trailer of the movie is

      Perfect but quite confusing..Thankfully these expectations are much more than just met with first track "Tu Hi Mera" turning out to be a nice romantic track. A very nice track rendered by Shafqat Amanat Ali. Shafaqat have done a great job. Music of the song tunes on slow-paced tabla instrument, also you can feel the Pee Loon(Once Upon A Time In Mumbai) touch in the song. Pritam composed a very soft melody and used guitar very well with beautiful lyrics by Sayeed Quadri.Shafaqat's voice and some elements like qawwali touch in melody and beats(tabla) makes it good and soothing to ears.

      2. Another Romantic qawwali track "Tera Deedar Hua" sung by Rahat Fateh Ali Khan is a sufi kind of song with theme of qawwali we can not say it is a pure sufi or pure qawwali melody. Sayeed Quadri wrote simple and sufi lyrics, pritam has also composed these kind of songs like "Tum Jo Aaye" from Once Upon A Time In Mumbai, feel is nice and the electric guitar on Tabla & Dholak is pretty cool combination as Pritam did in "Crazy Kia Re" in Dhoom-2. Two words for this track- Sweet melody and soft song.

      3. "Tujhe Sochta Hoon" sung by K.K, is another beautiful composition of pritam after "Dil Ibadat"(Tum Mile), song starts with Krishnakumar Kunnath's(K.K.) high note as Tujhe Sochta Hoon..Sang Hoon Tere.. Great feel came by the very well sung opera by supporting vocalists. Also, the tune, melody and the overall arrangements are such that it hooks you on totally within one listening itself. I want to share another nice fact for music lovers I found in Dil Ibadat and Tujhe Sochta Hoon, the opera sung in both the tracks is an inspiration from AVTAR's(James Cameron) background score composed by James Horner for tragic scene of war(last 12 min of movie).

      4. Mohit Chauhan's magical voice is sufficient to increase the heart beats, he proved that in the next track "Rab Ka Shukrana"sung by Mohit Chauhan is a beautiful song with a little freshness in music, we can say that it's a new and successful experiment by pritam.Sayeed Quadri wrote very soft lyrics with feel of Ibadat, piano works well to maintain Romance and feel of true love. some words from song by Sayeed Quadri to justify this view:

      Mera kalma hai tu, Aazaan hai tu;

      Rab ka shukrana..

      5. "Jannatein Kahan" is another nice track, the main part of the song is based on a super hit melody composed by pritam..guess...It's "Zara Sa" from 'Jannat', K.K. sung very well, the end of every para(ooh hoo... ) is beautifully mixed with hip hop bits to make a different zone of feeling and as we know only pritam can do it with a single and popular tune. Great Job!

      6. "Sang Hoon Tere" sung by Nikhil D'Souza is another version of Tujhe Sochta Hoon which is slightly different from original track. Hence while one would have expected something which was indeed high voltage here, it doesn't turn out to be the case with 'Sang Hoon Tere', despite it's potential of being a little better, turns out to be barely average. Not that the song is bad, but then well, one expected more here.

      7. "Jannatein Kahan (Power Ballad)" sung by Nikhil D'Souza, as Pritam composed "Zara Sa (Power Ballad)" in Jannat, he tried to do the same with a hit, the song is nice & sung very well. The way he played the Electric Guitar is similar to Zara Sa (Power Ballad). Nice Song but there is no comparison between Zara Sa (Power Ballad) wchich was a big hit and Jannatein Kahan.

      8. "Tera Deedar Hua (From The Heart)" sung by Javed Ali is another version of Tera Deedar Hua, he has done great job. Nice Version.

      9. "Rab Ka Shukrana (Reprise)" sung by Anupam Amod is very soft song, another good version of a Rab Ka Shukrana. Very Nice Track!
